1. Who we are
ATLAS Engineering Intelligence Limited ("ATLAS™", "we", "us") operates this website and is developing ATLAS Lite™, a mobile app and office portal that is not yet available. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, with regard to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, and will be updated before ATLAS Lite™ launches.
2. Information we collect
This website has no user accounts, sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising tracking. It does not collect information through forms: contact buttons open an email in your own email app, and we receive only what you choose to send us. Our hosting provider handles the technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address and browser type, in standard server logs. For ATLAS Lite™, once it launches, we expect to collect only what we need to provide it:

3. How we use information
- To operate this website and, once it launches, provide and secure ATLAS Lite™
- To sync reports between the app and the office portal (ATLAS Lite™, planned)
- To respond to enquiries and support requests
- To improve reliability using aggregated, de-identified data
- To meet legal obligations
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that host or operate our services on our behalf, such as web hosting and email and, once ATLAS Lite™ launches, cloud hosting and error monitoring.
5. Storage and transfers
Where ATLAS Lite™ data will be hosted has not been finalised and will be stated here before ATLAS Lite™ launches. This website is delivered through our hosting provider's network, which may process requests outside New Zealand. Where information is stored or processed outside New Zealand, we will take reasonable steps to protect it.
6. Retention
Emails you send us are kept for as long as we need them to respond and for our records. Retention periods for ATLAS Lite™ data will be set out here and in customer agreements before ATLAS Lite™ launches.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where appropriate. Contact us at john@atlasengineeringltd.com. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold. The specific security measures for ATLAS Lite™ will be described here before it launches.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Before ATLAS Lite™ launches we will describe here how users are told about material changes.
