John Habib
Founder & CEOLeads the ATLAS™ vision and partnerships.
Beneath every street are networks of water, gas, power, fibre and stormwater, built and changed over generations. The knowledge about them is scattered across paper diaries, spreadsheets, phones and people's memories.
ATLAS Engineering Intelligence is the company; ATLAS Lite™ is our first product, a field app and office portal that turn daily site work into a shared, searchable record. Spatial GIS intelligence, field operations, the TERRAMEMORA knowledge engine and knowledge preservation follow on our roadmap.

Founded by John Habib, ATLAS™ exists to keep hard-won site knowledge with the people who inherit it.
Across those years he saw the same thing again and again: hard-won knowledge about what lies beneath the ground, and why decisions were made, leaving with the people who held it. Records were lost at handover, and each new team started again from scratch.
The vision for ATLAS™ grew from that experience: to preserve engineering knowledge for future generations, so that every engineer inherits a better starting point than the last.
We make what lies underground visible to the people about to work on it.
Every report and observation should outlive the project that produced it.
If it doesn't work on a muddy site with one bar of signal, it isn't finished.
Customers own their data. We protect it, and we never sell it.
ATLAS Engineering Intelligence Limited is building the living memory of engineering: a family of tools that connect spatial data, field operations and engineering knowledge. ATLAS Lite™ is where it starts.
Field intelligence and daily site reporting for the people who build and maintain infrastructure, with an office portal for review.
ATLAS™ starts as a question: why is so much infrastructure knowledge lost at handover?
Scope agreed for a field-first MVP: daily reports, offline sync and office review.
Pilot testing is planned for the first quarter of 2027, initially focusing on engineering and infrastructure operations in New Zealand, with potential opportunities for additional testing in the Middle East.
